We are currently recruiting for an experienced Mechanic to join an established and busy business based in Eastbourne.

This is a great opportunity for a skilled Mechanic looking for a permanent position where you can use your technical knowledge and practical skills in a hands-on environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs
• Diagnosing mechanical faults and identifying the cause of issues
• Completing routine inspections and preventative maintenance
• Using diagnostic equipment and mechanical tools safely and effectively
• Carrying out repairs to a high standard and within agreed timescales
• Maintaining accurate records of work completed
• Ensuring all work is carried out in line with Health & Safety requirements
• Keeping the workshop and working areas clean and organised

Skills & Experience Required

• Previous experience working as a Mechanic or in a similar mechanical role
• Strong mechanical knowledge and practical hands-on skills
• Ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical faults
• Experience carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs
• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong understanding of Health & Safety procedures
