Job summary

Interaction Recruitment seeks a Food Production Operative for a fast-paced meat processing environment in Meldreth. You will handle stock, prepare and process meat products, and pack finished goods for dispatch. Training is provided and candidates with some food production background are encouraged to apply.

Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00am–6:30pm, with a Thursday start at 7:00am. There is ongoing work and a potential permanent opportunity.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food production, manufacturing or factory environment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn and undertake training.

Responsibilities

• Handling and moving stock within the production facility.
• Picking stock from cold storage areas.
• Preparing and processing meat products.
• Packing finished products ready for dispatch.
• Building and preparing pallets for delivery.
• Carrying out basic quality checks.
• Keeping production areas clean and tidy.
