Job summary

Interaction Recruitment Group is seeking Food Production & Warehouse Operatives in Meldreth for immediate start. Roles involve production and warehouse duties with full training provided, potentially leading to permanent work. FLT licence is advantageous though not essential, and on-site parking is available.

Shifts run Monday to Friday, 7:00am–5:00pm, paying £13.27 per hour. This is a busy environment requiring reliability, physical stamina, and a proactive, team-oriented approach.

Qualifications

• Experience in food production or warehouse is desirable but not essential.
• Able to carry out physical and repetitive work.
• Comfortable working in a busy environment.
• Able to follow instructions and procedures.
• FLT experience/licence is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Picking stock from the cold store.
• Processing and handling food products.
• Cutting meat to size using a band saw following full training.
• Packing finished products.
• Palletising products ready for dispatch.
• Carrying out basic quality checks.
• Following food hygiene and health & safety procedures.
• Keeping the production area clean and organised.
• Loading and unloading deliveries.
• Moving stock around the warehouse.
• Picking and preparing orders.
• Packing and palletising products.
• Preparing goods for dispatch.
• Keeping the warehouse clean and organised.
• Following health and safety procedures.
• Supporting the wider production and warehouse team as required.
