Job summary

Dovecote Park Ltd is recruiting a Production Operative at our Pontefract site (WF8 3DD). This permanent role offers a 6:00am to 3:00pm, Monday to Friday schedule, 40 hours per week, paid at £13.10 per hour.

You will be involved in controlled processing, cooking and packing of raw meat, working with attention to detail and following food safety standards. A family business with strong animal welfare standards and investment in staff facilities.

Qualifications

• Good communication with staff across site and external visitors.
• Attention to detail with a diligent approach to work activities.
• Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining quality, legislative requirements and speed.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the controlled processing, cooking and packing of raw meat.
• Maintain quality while working under pressure and ensuring legal compliance.
• Meet daily production output targets.
• Minimise cross-contamination and manage allergens.
• Adhere to cooking and legislative procedures.
• Ensure proper waste handling and correct sealing/traceability.
