Job summary

Hilton Foods Huntingdon is seeking a Production Operative for day shift to work on a production line and pack meat to specification, while maintaining efficiency and safety standards. Location is Huntingdon, with a 4 on/4 off pattern from 6am to 6pm, and a pay rate of £13.57 per hour.

You will check meat cuts against specifications, arrange meat in packaging per product specs, verify pack weights, and reject items outside parameters.

Responsibilities

• Checking the cuts of meat to ensure that they are in line with specifications
• Arranging meat in packaging, complying with display requirements set out in product specifications
• Ensuring that the pack weight is correct and in line with specifications
• Rejecting any items including packaging and meats that look to be outside of the parameters set out in the product specifications

About the role:

We are now looking for Production Operatives, for day shift, to work on a production line and pack meat in line with specification and always work in an efficient manner.

As a Production Operatives your role responsibilities will include:

• Checking the cuts of meat to ensure that they are in line with specifications
• Arranging meat in packaging, complying with display requirements set out in product specifications
• Ensuring that the pack weight is correct and in line with specifications
• Rejecting any items including packaging and meats that look to be outside of the parameters set out in the product specifications
