Job summary

Staffline is recruiting reliable Food Production Operatives in Melton Mowbray to join a fast-paced ready-to-eat meals operation. The role offers both full-time and part-time shifts, with transport from Derby City Centre available for a small fee.

You will work on production lines, handle meat products, and follow strict food safety and hygiene procedures. On-site support and free parking are provided. No prior experience required; full training is offered to support progression.

Qualifications

• Comfortable handling and working with all types of meat products.
• Able to work in a cold environment.
• Flexible and willing to work weekends as required.
• Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Able to stand for long periods and carry out repetitive tasks.

Responsibilities

• Preparing, assembling, and packing ready-to-eat meals.
• Working on production lines to meet daily production targets.
• Following food safety, hygiene, and quality procedures at all times.
• Handling and working with a variety of meat products, including: Pork, Beef, Chicken, Lamb.
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
• Supporting colleagues to ensure efficient production.
• Heavy lifting may be required depending on department.
