Job summary

Staffline is recruiting Food Production Operatives in Melton Mowbray to join a fast-paced food manufacturing team. Roles available at both full-time and part-time hours with a rate of pay £12.86–£13.51 per hour, plus transport options.

Applicants should be able to handle meat products (pork, beef, chicken, lamb), work on production lines, and follow strict hygiene procedures. Training is provided and there are temp-to-perm opportunities.

We are looking for reliable and hardworking Food Production Operatives to join our team producing high-quality ready-to-eat meals. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment with both full-time and part-time positions available.

Staffline is recruiting Food Production Operatives in Melton Mowbray.

The rate of pay is £12.86 - £13.51 per hour.

This role offers both full and part-time positions and the hours of work are:

• Full-Time:
  
  
  
  • Sunday 6:30am to 2:30pm
  
  
  • Monday - Thursday 2:30pm to 10:30pm

Your Time at Work

As a Food Production Operative your duties include:

• Preparing, assembling, and packing ready-to-eat meals.


• Working on production lines to meet daily production targets.


• Following food safety, hygiene, and quality procedures at all times.


• Handling and working with a variety of meat products, including: Pork, Beef, Chicken, Lamb.


• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.


• Supporting colleagues to ensure efficient production.

Please note that there will be some heavy lifting depending on department.

• Comfortable handling and working with all types of meat products.


• Able to work in a cold environment.


• Flexible and willing to work weekends as required.


• Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.


• Able to stand for long periods and carry out repetitive tasks.

Previous food production experience is advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided.
