Job summary

Dunbia Group is seeking General Operatives for our Lindal in Furness site. You’ll join our Abattoir Production Areas, supporting fast-paced processing of sheep and cattle while following SOPs and safety guidelines.

Candidates must be physically fit, enthusiastic, and flexible to adapt to changing production needs. You’ll work with a team to meet department targets and uphold quality and hygiene standards throughout the shift.

Qualifications

• Must be physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced abattoir environment.
• Flexible to work shifts and varying production needs.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks.
• Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Follow departmental SOPs and production targets.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area; adhere to health and hygiene standards.
• Support slaughter and processing of sheep and cattle per animal welfare regulations.
• Contribute to achieving customer and company specifications.
• Collaborate with managers and colleagues to meet department goals.
