Job summary

Dunbia Group is seeking General Operatives for the Lindal in Furness (Ulverston) Abattoir Production Areas. You will work in a fast-paced environment, following SOPs, maintaining pace with production needs, and ensuring customer and company specifications are met.

Candidates should be physically fit, flexible, and able to work both independently and as part of a team. Opportunities for progression exist within the UK sites.

Responsibilities

• Follow and be aware of the departmental SOPs.
• Maintain the pace in line with production needs.
• Work with the manager and team to achieve department targets.
• Ensure customer and company specifications are achieved.
• Keep work area clean and sanitised; clean up after production finishes.
• Promote Health, Safety and Hygiene standards per company rules.
• Involvement in slaughter processes of sheep and cattle per animal welfare guidelines.
