Dunbia, a leading beef and lamb processor in the UK, is hiring General Operatives for the Abattoir Production Areas at the Lindal in Furness Ulverston site. You will work in a fast-paced environment, supporting production targets and quality standards.

Candidates should be physically fit, flexible, and reliable, with a proactive approach to health and safety and willingness to learn new skills. Full training and progression opportunities are available.

Responsibilities

• Follow and be aware of the departmental SOPs.
• Maintain a fast-paced production area.
• Work with the manager and team to achieve department targets.
• Ensure customer and company specifications are met.
• Work to a clean-as-you-go policy and keep areas clean.
• Promote and maintain Health, Safety and Hygiene standards.
• Involvement in the slaughter and following processes in line with welfare guidelines.
