Job summary

Chaddlewood Primary School invites applications for a Mealtime Assistant KS2. This permanent role is 6.25 hours per week over 38 weeks, from 12:15pm to 1:30pm, at the Plympton site in Plymouth.

You will supervise children in the dining hall and outdoor areas, promoting welfare and good conduct during lunch and break times. An enhanced DBS disclosure is required; Westcountry Schools Trust values safeguarding and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• DBS enhanced disclosure is required.
• Experience with supervising children in school settings is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist and supervise children in the dining hall and playground.
• Promote welfare, health and safety and encourage good conduct during lunch and break times.
• Ensure order of dining areas and outside spaces during transitions.
