Job summary

Pomphlett Primary School is seeking a Mealtime Assistant to join the lunchtime team, to lead play and supervise the children during their lunchtime break. The role will include supporting children in the lunch hall, organising team games, providing first aid support and pastoral care to all pupils.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising children during lunch breaks.
• Ability to provide first aid and pastoral support.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the dining hall and encourage healthy eating and good hygiene.
• Organise team games and facilitate play in the playground.
• Provide first aid as required and support pupils' welfare.
• Promote positive behaviour and safe active play.
• Work with school staff to implement the Trust's wellbeing aims.

• Will supervise the dining hall whilst encouraging healthy eating, table manners and good hygiene
• Will work together with other school staff and the wider community to ensure that our mission is translated into action.
