Job summary

Westcountry Schools Trust is seeking a Mealtime Assistant KS1 at Chaddlewood Primary School in Plympton, Plymouth. This term-time role is 6.25 hours per week across 38 weeks, with shifts from 11:45am to 1:00pm.

You will supervise children in the dining hall and playground, promoting their welfare, health and safety and encouraging good conduct. You will join a small team, monitor children and engage them in positive play while keeping dining and outdoor areas orderly.

Job Title: Mealtime Assistant KS1 Permanent

Terms: 6.25 hrs per week 38 weeks 11.45am-1.00pm

Salary: £13.28 per hour. Scale A Point 3

Location: Chaddlewood Primary School, Hemerdon Heights, Plympton, Plymouth PL7 2EU

As a Mealtime Assistant you will assist and supervise children in the dining hall and playground promote their welfare, health and safety and will encourage good conduct and behaviour. You will be part of a small team monitoring the children and engaging them in positive play, whilst ensuring good order of the dining areas and outside places at all times.
