Job summary

Learning Partners Academy Trust in Surrey is seeking a Pathway Coordinator to work with our regional team, based at Kings College Guildford, delivering the mentoring programme to young people in years 7–11.

You will build strong relationships with learners, liaise with education colleagues and external partners, and drive mentor recruitment while tracking progression and impact with case studies and quantitative feedback.

Qualifications

  • Experience of working with young people.
  • Awareness and understanding of safeguarding and child protection duties.
  • Excellent interpersonal, administrative, organisational report writing and presentation skills.
  • Passionate, enthusiastic, energetic and proactive approach.

Responsibilities

  • Helping build exceptional individual relationships with young people across Years 7–11.
  • Delivering group work to selected young people in Years 7 and 8.
  • Support mentor recruitment and sustain mentor engagement throughout the programme.
  • Enable young people to set and follow their education and employment pathways.
  • Evidence progression and impact with quantitative feedback and case studies.

Contract Type: 2-year fixed contract
Weeks/Hours: 43 weeks per annum, 35 hours per week
Salary: LPT 4.2 (£25,867 - FTE, £24,063 - Actual per annum)

They have had a transformational impact in schools and local authorities across Scotland and in England are looking for a Pathway Coordinator to work with their regional team in Surrey, based at Kings College Guildford. In this role, you will be an integral part of the school community, liaising with education colleagues and external stakeholders, and delivering the programme to young people.

About the Role:
  • Helping build exceptional individual relationships with young people across
  • Years 7-11 and delivering group work to selected young people in Years 7 and 8.
  • Helping to drive mentor recruitment. Consistently supporting, actively engaging and motivating mentors from training through the length of their engagement with the programme.
  • Actively support MCR young people to set, experience then follow their education and employment pathways.
  • Evidence progression, impact and best practice with YP input, quantitative feedback and qualitative case studies.
