Job summary

Focus Independent Adult Social Work C.I.C. seeks an experienced Lead Officer for MCA & DoLS to provide strategic and operational leadership across North East Lincolnshire. The role focuses on ensuring rights, freedoms and wellbeing of adults at risk are central to practice.

You will work with Adult Social Care, health partners and the Safeguarding Adults Board to deliver high-quality, legally compliant care, guiding system-wide responses to DoLS developments.

Qualifications

• Experience in Mental Capacity Act (MCA) and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS).
• Strong safeguarding adults expertise and Court of Protection exposure.
• Proven leadership and strategic planning capability across health and social care systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for MCA & DoLS across North East Lincolnshire.
• Influence safeguarding and adult social care policy development and practice.
• Drive continuous improvement and workforce development in MCA/DoLS.
