Job summary

Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust in Cambridge seeks an experienced therapist to deliver MBT-based group treatment for adults with personality disorders. You will run the 12-week MBT intro program and help co-facilitate the extended 18-month therapy pathway, combining weekly group sessions with individual work.

You will undertake 1:1 pre-treatment assessments, maintain accurate clinical records, and manage risk and safeguarding.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering therapy in MBT or group-based programmes.
• Ability to mentor junior practitioners and lead within group treatment.
• Skilled in managing emotional distress and safeguarding concerns.

Responsibilities

• Deliver therapy to clients in our structured MBT pathway, including group and individual sessions.
• Lead 12-week MBT groups and co-facilitate the 18-month therapy programme.
• Conduct 1:1 pre-treatment assessments and complete clinical records and risk/safeguarding work.
• Provide supervision and reflective practice; support crisis calls when needed.
