Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced therapist to support delivery of group-based treatment programmes for adults with personality disorders. You will provide MBT/DBT therapies, conduct pre-treatment assessments, and help mentor junior staff, with opportunities to work with families and crisis lines.

The post emphasises clinical leadership, safeguarding, and effective documentation in a busy service, with training in crisis management and supervision

Formación

• Undergraduate degree in psychology or core profession with basis for registration (nursing or allied health) or trained/registered psychotherapist.
• Willingness and ability to pursue MBT Practitioner Accreditation.
• Current UK professional registration or eligibility to register is required.

Responsabilidades

• Provide therapy to clients in a structured MBT/DBT pathway.
• Carry out 1:1 pre-treatment assessments and engage service users at entry.
• Complete clinical records, risk assessments and safeguarding follow-ups.
• Deliver the 12-week MBT group and co-facilitate the 18-month therapy programme.
• Respond to crisis situations and participate in duty telephone support.
• Produce reports and participate in multidisciplinary meetings.
