Job summary

South West London and St George's Mental Health NHS Trust is recruiting for a post within the Richmond MBT Intensive Treatment Service. The role involves managing a caseload, co-facilitating MBT groups and leading pathway processes for referrals, while ensuring high standards of care and governance.

You will provide specialised MBT interventions, support assessments, and supervise colleagues within a multidisciplinary team in a Trust striving for outstanding care.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level or equivalent.
• Core Mental Health Profession registered with an appropriate professional body (NMC, UKCP, HCPC, SWE).
• Accreditation in MBT (Anna Freud Centre).
• Formal Accreditation in MBT with the Anna Freud Centre, with a minimum of 2 years of supervised MBT clinical practice.
• Desirable: Post registration qualification in group work.
• Demonstrable experience of working with adults with mental health problems in a variety of community settings.
• Experience of multi-disciplinary team working.
• Experience of inter-agency working.
• Experience of working with clients with a diagnosis of personality disorder.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate group and individual clinical supervision for MBT provision and modality.
• Provide highly specialised MBT interventions to patients in Personality Disorder Teams.
• Co-facilitate MBT groups and hold a caseload of weekly patients.
• Lead on Richmond CEN Referrals Pathway processes.
• Provide specialist MBT assessments for patients screened for MBT.
• Supervise and support psychological assessment and therapy within teams and governance of MBT provision.
• Work with the team to ensure MBT programme delivery, monitoring and evaluation.
