Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience of SCADA systems or similar responsibility in a process plant.
• Proven track record of delivering to clearly defined KPIs.
• Proven track record of delivering continuous improvement in an operational environment.
• Experience in developing and implementing data capture/recording systems.
• Good understanding of health, safety and environmental compliance.
• Knowledge of MRF operations.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor all MBT control systems.
• Optimise crane movements and throughputs.
• Diagnose operating problems and take corrective action.
• Coordinate with Engineering to prioritize critical incidents.
• Carry out site fly treatments and review monitoring data.
• Stock control and accurate reporting of waste contracts.
• Provide detailed records of plant operations, settings and stoppages.
• Log crane data and downtime to produce weekly Pareto.
• Monitor fires, alarms and faults on site.
• Work toward daily, weekly and monthly KPIs.
• Follow health & safety and environmental legislation and company policies.
