Job summary
MBDA UK in Stevenage is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to join the RF Seekers Team, developing seeker solutions from complex requirements.
The role covers the Systems Engineering V model, negotiating requirements with the missile systems customer through to verification and validation, with opportunities for travel within the UK and internationally. Salary circa £50,000–£55,000, hybrid on-site work, BPSS checks after offer stage.
Qualifications
- Experience deriving and managing requirements.
- Experience generating Functional and Physical Architecture using SysML/MBSE.
- Model-based Systems Engineering experience.
- Experience with DOORS/DOORS Next/Rhapsody/Capella desirable.
- MATLAB and Simulink desirable.
- Knowledge of RF/microwave, radar and control systems desirable.
Responsibilities
- Transform customer requirements into system architectures and requirements.
- Negotiate requirements with missile systems customer through verification and validation.
- Contribute to RF Seeker design and related development activities.
- Collaborate with teams across development activities.
- Travel opportunities within the UK and internationally.
