Job summary

Vbeyond is seeking an experienced Maximo Developer to support a major upgrade and migration programme in the Aerospace & Defence sector. The role covers customisation, Java development and automation scripting for MAS 9.x on DB2 in Azure.

The candidate will upgrade and remediate upgrades, develop integrations, and perform unit testing while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver the MAS upgrade project from Maximo 7.6.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on Maximo 7.6 and MAS 9.x development experience.
• Experience with Maximo customisation and integration development.
• Proven upgrade and remediation experience for Maximo environments.
• Experience with Java development for Maximo.
• Experience with Maximo automation scripting and unit testing.
• Understanding of Maximo architecture and configuration.

Responsibilities

• Develop and customise solutions across Maximo 7.6 and MAS 9.x.
• Develop and maintain Maximo application customisations.
• Use Java for Maximo development and customisation activities.
• Develop automation scripts to support Maximo processes.
• Analyse existing customisations for MAS upgrade changes.
• Perform upgrade remediation and resolve compatibility issues.
• Develop and maintain integrations between Maximo and external systems.
• Support API and integration development activities.
• Unit test developed solutions and customisations.
• Debug and troubleshoot application and integration issues.
• Support migration activities from Maximo 7.6 to MAS 9.x.
• Collaborate with architecture, database and infra teams.
• Document technical solutions, changes and remediation activities.
