Job summary
Vbeyond is seeking an experienced Maximo Aviation Install Specialist to support a major MAS upgrade and migration in the Aerospace & Defence sector. You will lead MAS 9.2 installation and OpenShift deployments, with DB2 integration across Azure-hosted environments.
The role requires hands-on migration from Maximo 7.6 to MAS 9.x, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work onsite in Derby 1-2 days per week with complex enterprise systems.
Qualifications
- Must have Maximo Aviation domain experience.
- Hands-on OpenShift deployment expertise.
- Experience with MAS 9.2 installation and configuration.
- DB2 integration within Maximo/MAS environments.
- Experience troubleshooting Maximo upgrades/remediation.
- Experience with Maximo 7.x to MAS migration/upgrade programmes.
- Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in complex enterprise environments.
- Azure-hosted MAS environments knowledge is desirable.
Responsibilities
- Install and configure MAS 9.2.
- Perform technical configuration and deployment across MAS environments.
- Support OpenShift-based MAS deployments.
- Configure and troubleshoot Maximo components.
- Apply Maximo Aviation functionality knowledge.
- Support MAS-DB2 integration and troubleshooting.
- Troubleshoot upgrade-related issues and remediation.
- Support migration from Maximo 7.6 to MAS 9.x.
- Identify and resolve platform/integration issues with technical teams.
- Support validation and environment readiness during the upgrade program.
