Job summary

Serco Limited is seeking a Maximo Data & Support Analyst to join the team supporting IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS 9) on the DMS NG contract. This hybrid, home-based role includes ad-hoc travel and a permanent, full-time position.

You will be the go-to expert for day-to-day Maximo support, data quality, and collaboration with the Maximo Developer to maintain a reliable data environment.

Qualifications

• Experience administering data within an asset or work management system, ideally IBM Maximo.
• Understanding of how asset, location, work order and job plan data fit together.
• Confidence using SQL or similar tools to query and validate data.
• Sharp eye for detail and a calm, methodical approach to time-sensitive workload.
• Good communication skills, able to explain technical issues to non-technical colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for Maximo support requests, triaging issues by priority and impact.
• Processing and validating data amendments across assets, locations, job plans and work orders, in line with change control.
• Investigating and resolving data discrepancies, escalating complex configuration issues as needed.
• Carrying out routine system housekeeping, including user access checks and monitoring scheduled jobs.
• Identifying root causes of poor data and implementing corrective actions.
• Supporting front-line Maximo development work and deputising for the Maximo Developer when required.
• Leading on audit requests and keeping clear records of amendments, decisions and resolutions.
• Training and guiding users, and documenting workflows and processes.
