Job summary

UK Atomic Energy Authority seeks a Service Support Advisor to provide first-line support for IBM Maximo and related asset-management platforms, coordinating maintenance requests and guiding users across the organisation. The role combines customer service with systems administration and data management to support safe, efficient estate operations.

The successful candidate will maintain asset records, produce reports with Excel/Power BI, and contribute to process improvements while working onsite

Qualifications

• A Levels in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, Facilities Management or related discipline.
• Experience supporting enterprise systems, service management or asset management environments.
• Knowledge of EAM principles, workflow-driven processes and data quality management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with reporting/data analysis experience.
• Experience with IBM Maximo, Power BI or SharePoint would be advantageous.
• Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills to explain technical information to non-technical users.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line support for IBM Maximo and related property systems, resolving user queries and service requests.
• Coordinate and manage maintenance requests from receipt to completion with timely stakeholder communication.
• Monitor system performance and identify opportunities to improve service delivery and processes.
• Maintain asset records, templates and master data ensuring data quality.
• Support configuration, testing and administration of enterprise asset management systems.
• Produce operational reports and dashboards using Excel/Power BI.
• Analyse data to identify trends, risks and improvement opportunities.
• Develop user guidance, knowledge articles and training materials.
• Support audits, governance activities and onboarding of new assets/contracts.
• Collaborate with customers and operations to deliver a customer-focused service.
