Job summary

Prospero Teaching in Bradford is seeking a Maths Tutor to provide dedicated 1:1 support to a Year 6 student in BD10. The role runs 10 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am-4pm, with pay £20–£30 per hour. This temporary position is ideal for tutors who can tailor sessions to help the student reach ARE.

Candidates with QTS are preferred but not essential; DBS and safeguarding training are expected. Successful applicants will undergo references and meet right-to-work requirements.

Qualifications

• QTS (desired) or previous 1:1 tutoring experience.
• Proven ability to improve student performance one-on-one.
• Safeguarding training desirable; DBS credential may be required.

About the Role:
Prospero Teaching is seeking dedicated and experienced Maths tutors to provide 1:1 support to students in the Bradford area. We work with local authorities and councils to arrange these 1:1 tuitions for students currently accessing alternative provision. QTS (desired but not essential) or previous experience working with students on a 1:1 basis
Proven track record of improving student performance
Team Teach qualification (highly desirable, but not required)
Up-to-date Safeguarding training (issued within the last year is desirable; training can be provided if needed)
DBS registered on the update serviceTo be Eligible for this Role Through Prospero Teaching, You Must:

Hold the right to work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service, or be willing to apply for one
Provide two professional references covering the last two years

Salary: £20 – £30/hour
