We are working with an impressive specialist school in Stamford, Lincolnshire, set within beautiful surroundings, to recruit an enthusiastic and committed Maths Teacher to join its supportive teaching team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Mathematics Teacher who enjoys building positive relationships with young people and wants to develop their teaching within a rewarding specialist education environment.
You will teach Mathematics across KS3, KS4 and KS5, supporting pupils to develop their confidence, knowledge and qualifications. The school works with young people with a range of SEND and SEMH needs, creating a role where teaching is about much more than simply delivering lessons.
SEN experience is welcome but is not essential. If you are an experienced Maths Teacher who has not previously worked in a specialist setting, the school can provide training and professional development in SEND, autism, SEMH, behaviour and safeguarding.
We are looking for a qualified Maths Teacher with QTS and strong subject knowledge, ideally with experience teaching through KS4 and KS5.
You may already have experience in SEN, SEND, SEMH, special education or alternative provision, but this is not essential.
You could be a mainstream Maths Teacher looking to take your next step into specialist education, or an experienced SEN teacher with a strong Mathematics background.
What matters most is that you are enthusiastic, patient, adaptable and committed to helping young people achieve their potential.
If this position isn't quite right, we also have a range of Maths, SEN, SEND, SEMH and specialist teaching vacancies across Lincolnshire and the wider East Midlands, including permanent and temporary opportunities.
