Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking a passionate Maths Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Pembrokeshire. You will deliver engaging Maths lessons across the secondary age range, helping pupils develop confidence and a love for mathematics.

The role requires QTS with strong subject knowledge, and the ability to manage diverse abilities in a positive classroom. Term-time only, with weekly PAYE, and dedicated consultant support from TeacherActive.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is required; NQT welcome.
• Strong Mathematics knowledge and secondary teaching experience.
• DBS Update Service or willingness to obtain one.

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (NQT's welcome!)

• Previous experience teaching Maths at secondary level

• Ability to engage and motivate pupils of different abilities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Passionate, reliable and adaptable approach
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
