Teaching Personnel Ltd. is partnering with a Powys secondary school in South Wales to recruit a Mathematics Teacher for the rest of the academic year. The role covers Maths across KS3/KS4, with KS5 potential, in an 11-18 comprehensive school with around 830 learners.

You will deliver engaging lessons, build mathematical fluency, and foster real-world application of maths while supporting pupils with diverse needs. ECTs and experienced teachers are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or completing induction.
• Proven experience teaching Mathematics KS3/KS4 (KS5 desirable).
• Ability to create an inclusive positive learning environment.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Monitor student progress and provide effective feedback.

Responsabilités

• Teach Mathematics to KS3/KS4 students across the Key Stages, with KS5 teaching possible.
• Deliver engaging, thought-provoking lessons to build fluency and problem-solving.
• Support progress monitoring and provide targeted feedback to learners.

Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm

About the Role

One of our partnered, welcoming secondary schools in Powys is seeking a passionate Mathematics Teacher to join their team ready for the rest of the academic year. This mixed 11-18 comprehensive school, with around 830 learners, is known for its inclusive ethos, strong pastoral support, and high expectations for behaviour and progress.

You will teach Maths across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential Key Stage 5 teaching if desired. You'll be delivering engaging, thought-provoking lessons that build mathematical fluency, critical thinking, and confidence in applying maths to real-world scenarios.

The school fosters a caring, respectful community and offers excellent support for pupils with additional learning needs, strong systems for monitoring progress, behaviour, and attendance to help ensure learners receive the support they need.
