Job summary

Randstad Education is partnering with a high-performing UK school to recruit a Maths Teacher for KS3 & KS4. The temporary role starts immediately, with bespoke CPD and a clear progression path within the Mathematics Department.

You will deliver Maths per the National Curriculum and GCSE specifications, using data to track progress and leading class routines. A QTS and STEM degree are required, with a DBS Update Service commitment. Weekly pay and scale-matched pay reflect experience.

Qualifications

• Mandatory QTS
• Bachelor or Master in Mathematics or related STEM field
• Experience teaching Mathematics in a UK secondary school

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver lessons aligned with the National Curriculum and GCSE Maths specifications (Higher and Foundation).
• Use assessment data to drive progress and close attainment gaps.
• Maintain an orderly, inclusive learning environment with effective behaviour management.
• Provide pastoral support as a Form Tutor for the assigned cohort.
