Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is recruiting a Maths Teacher for a Wigan secondary school with an ASAP start. The role runs initially until at least Christmas, with potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

You will teach Mathematics across KS3 and KS4 within an established Maths department, contributing to pupil progress and achievement. The ideal candidate will hold QTS or an equivalent qualification, have experience teaching KS3/KS4 Maths, and be able to plan engaging lessons while

• Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching KS3 and KS4 Mathematics.
• Strong subject knowledge across the secondary Maths curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver Maths lessons for KS3 and KS4.
• Monitor pupil progress and adapt teaching to raise attainment.
• Differentiate instruction to meet a range of learning needs.
• Work collaboratively with the Maths department to ensure consistency of progress.
