Tradewind Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Maths Teacher to join a secondary school in Wigan, with an ASAP start available. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Maths Teacher seeking a long-term position, with the role initially running until at least Christmas and the potential for a permanent appointment for the right candidate.

• Experience delivering Mathematics to KS3/KS4 and supporting pupils to progress.
• Ability to plan, deliver and assess engaging Maths lessons.
• Strong subject knowledge of the secondary Maths curriculum.
• High expectations of pupil behaviour and achievement.
• Confidence building positive relationships with pupils and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high-quality Maths lessons across KS3 & KS4.
• Monitor pupil progress and adapt teaching to meet needs.
• Collaborate with the Maths department and wider school.
