Job summary

Justteachers Ltd. are seeking a dedicated Maths Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Leeds. This full-time role starts in September and runs through to Christmas, with potential extension for the right candidate.

The successful applicant will deliver engaging Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 options depending on experience. QTS or equivalent qualification, strong Maths knowledge, and excellent classroom management are essential.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification required.
• Experience teaching Maths at KS3 and KS4; KS5 desirable.
• Strong subject knowledge and passion for Mathematics.
• Excellent classroom management skills.
• Proactive and flexible approach to teaching.
• Enhanced DBS on update service (or willing to obtain).
• Two school-based references.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high-quality Maths lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
• Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all learners.
• Monitor, assess, and report on student progress.
• Maintain strong classroom management and positive behaviour standards.
• Contribute to wider school community and departmental planning.
• Support students in achieving their academic targets.
