Job summary

Service Care is seeking a confident Maths Teacher for an immediate start in Leeds. The role will primarily cover KS3 with some KS4 teaching, requiring strong subject knowledge and excellent classroom management to deliver engaging lessons across ability levels.

The ideal candidate holds QTS, GCSE maths proficiency, and has experience in KS3/KS4. DBS Update Service is required. Availability to start 9 November 2026 is essential.

Qualifications

• QTS or relevant teaching qualifications required.
• Strong knowledge of Maths curriculum, including GCSE.
• Experience teaching Maths at KS3 and KS4.
• Confident classroom and behaviour management.
• Ability to plan, deliver and mark lessons independently.
• Availability to start Monday 9th November 2026.

GCSE Maths Teacher Location: Leeds Start Date: Monday 9th November 2026 Contract: Temporary / Supply - Until 18th December - with view to extend Key Stage: Predominantly KS3, with some KS4 teaching

About the Role

Essential Requirements

• QTS or relevant teaching qualifications.
• Strong knowledge of the Maths curriculum, including GCSE.
• Previous experience teaching Maths at KS3 and KS4.
• Confident classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Ability to independently plan, deliver and mark lessons.
• Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service.
