Job summary

A high-performing secondary school in Brighton is seeking an enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join its teaching team from September 2026. You will deliver engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4, with opportunities to teach KS5 where appropriate.

Qualifications

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching KS3-KS4; KS5 teaching desirable.
• Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and a genuine passion for education.
• Commitment to high-quality teaching and learning.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons across KS3 and KS4 (and KS5 where appropriate).
• Monitor student progress and provide meaningful feedback.
• Differentiate teaching to meet all learners' needs.
• Contribute to departmental initiatives and school enrichment activities.
• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching and learning.
