Maths Teacher | Good Secondary School in Lincoln

A welcoming and well-established Good secondary school in Lincoln is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Maths Teacher to join its Mathematics department. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher or ECT who is passionate about Mathematics and wants to make a positive impact on students' academic progress and confidence.

There is an established demand for Maths teachers across Lincoln and Lincolnshire, with recent vacancies seeking teachers able to deliver Mathematics across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 experience also desirable.

The successful candidate will join a supportive department where collaboration, strong subject knowledge and high-quality teaching are valued. You will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons that challenge students while making Mathematics accessible and enjoyable for learners of different abilities.

The Role

As a Maths Teacher, you will teach across KS3, KS4 and, where appropriate, KS5. You will plan and deliver well-structured lessons, assess student progress and use a range of teaching strategies to develop mathematical understanding.

You will encourage students to become confident problem-solvers and help them understand how mathematical concepts can be applied both academically and beyond the classroom.

The school is open to applications from experienced teachers and ECTs who can demonstrate strong subject knowledge, effective classroom management and a genuine enthusiasm for teaching Mathematics.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons across KS3–KS5.

Prepare students effectively for GCSE and A-Level examinations where appropriate.
