We are currently recruiting for a committed and passionate Maths Teacher to join a dynamic and supportive secondary school in Cardiff . The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality Mathematics lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the possibility of Key Stage 5 depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging and challenging Maths lessons in accordance with the national curriculum.

Use a range of strategies to support student progress and understanding.

Monitor, assess, and report on student achievement.

Create a positive learning environment that promotes progress and attainment.

Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school expectations.

Work collaboratively with colleagues in the Maths department and across the wider school.

Provide support and guidance to students to help them reach their full potential.

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

Specialism in Mathematics.

Experience teaching in a UK secondary school setting.

Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.

Excellent communication, planning, and organisational abilities.

An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).

Right to work in the UK.
