Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver clear, engaging, and well-structured Mathematics lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
• Assess, record, and report on student progress in line with departmental policies.
• Differentiate learning materials and teaching strategies to meet diverse needs, including SEND.
• Maintain high standards of classroom management and discipline to ensure a safe learning environment.
• Set meaningful homework and provide constructive feedback to support improvement.
• Prepare students for national examinations, including GCSE Mathematics.
• Contribute to the development of the mathematics scheme of work and resources.
• Collaborate with colleagues, SLT, and support staff to uphold high academic standards.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and welfare.
• Participate in department meetings, school events, and ongoing CPD.
