Job summary

Teaching Personnel are seeking a Maths Teacher in Ash, Surrey to join a welcoming secondary school. The role covers planning and delivering Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4, with potential for both full-time and part-time contracts, starting ASAP.

ECTs are welcome with support; strong knowledge of the Maths curriculum and QTS are essential. Pay ranges from £150-£220 per day, with statutory holiday pay included. Safeguarding checks apply.

Maths Teacher - Ash, Surrey

Location: Ash, Surrey. Position: Maths Teacher. Contract: Full-time / Part-time. Start Date: ASAP. Salary: £150-£220 per day, depending on experience and qualifications.

Teaching Personnel are currently working with a welcoming secondary school in Ash, Surrey, who are looking for a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher to join their team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking to develop their career within a supportive school environment.

The Role

• Planning and delivering engaging Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
• Supporting students to develop their mathematical knowledge and confidence
• Differentiating lessons to meet the needs of all learners
• Monitoring student progress and providing constructive feedback
• Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Working collaboratively with colleagues within the Maths department

The Ideal Candidate

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Have experience teaching Maths within a secondary school setting
• Have a strong knowledge of the Maths curriculum
• Be passionate about supporting students to achieve their potential
• Have excellent classroom management skills
• Be reliable, enthusiastic and committed to their role
• Be able to build positive relationships with students and staff
• ECTs are welcome to apply, with support available throughout your placement.
