Job summary

Teach South Kent in Tonbridge is seeking an experienced Maths Teacher for a full-time maternity cover starting October 2026. You will deliver Maths teaching up to GCSE, plan and assess student progress, and work within an established Maths department to maintain high standards.

The ideal candidate will have QTS or recognised UK teaching experience and a strong background in secondary Maths, with the ability to engage learners of varying abilities in a supportive school environment.

We are working with a secondary school in Tonbridge who are looking to appoint a confident and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join their team on a full-time maternity cover.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher who enjoys teaching Maths through to GCSE level and wants to join a school where they can make a real impact in the classroom.

The school is looking for someone who can step confidently into the role, deliver high-quality lessons and build strong relationships with students. You will be joining an established Maths team and will be supported throughout the placement.

• Full-time Maths teaching position
