Job summary

CER Education is recruiting a passionate Mathematics (Maths) teacher to join a Stockton academy. The role is full-time and starts in October/November 2026, with the potential to become permanent.

You will teach Maths across KS3 and KS4, plan engaging lessons, and support students to reach their full potential. The successful candidate will hold UK QTS and have experience teaching Maths at KS3/KS4 in a collaborative, supportive environment.

• QTS required and eligible to teach in the UK.
• Experience teaching Maths at KS3/KS4.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students.

Location: Stockton

Start Date: October / November 2026

Contract Type: Full-time, Fixed term

Pay: £140 to £245 per day

CER Education is working exclusively with a well-regarded academy in Stockton, seeking a passionate and committed Mathematics (Maths) teacher to join their team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a school with excellent leadership, strong systems, and a supportive staff culture. The role starts in October / November 2026, is full-time and will run until the Christmas break in the first instance. The role is an open vacancy so has potential to become a permanent position, for the right candidate.

Requirements

• UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Open to experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs)
