Job summary

CER Education Recruitment is helping a large trust in the Harrogate area to recruit a Mathematics (Maths) Teacher for a start in September/October 2026. The role is full-time and runs until Christmas, with a view to becoming permanent if suitable.

The trust has established systems, resources, and a supportive staff ethos to help all staff embed quickly. Applications from experienced practitioners and Newly-Qualified Teachers (ECTs) are welcomed.

Qualifications

• Have experience teaching KS3 and KS4 Mathematics (Maths)
• Must have experience working within a UK school
• Deliver inspiring and engaging lessons

Job description

I am working exclusively with a large trust within the Harrogate area that require a Mathematics (Maths) Teacher, starting in September / October 2026. The role is full-time and will run until the Christmas break in the first instance, with a view to becoming permanent, if applicable.

The trust has well-established systems, resources and supportive staff ethos, helping all staff members to embed themselves well.

The trust are open to applications from experienced practitioners, as well as Newly-Qualified Teacher / Early Careers Teacher (ECT's).

To be considered for the position of Mathematics (Maths) Teacher you must:

• Have experience teaching KS3 and KS4 Mathematics (Maths)
• Must have experience working within a UK school
• Deliver inspiring and engaging lessons
• Hold a recognised UK teaching qualification
