Job summary

Kedleston Group Ltd is seeking a Maths Teacher to inspire and support pupils across a dynamic school community. You will plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons, assess progress, and contribute to collaborative planning with colleagues and families.

Qualifications

• QTS is required.
• SEND qualification is desirable.
• Experience with SEND/ASC is ideal but applicants from mainstream settings are welcome.
• Prior teaching Maths as a specialist subject is preferred.
• Strong classroom management and the ability to motivate pupils.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and innovation in teaching methods.

Who are we?

Dukes Wood School, part of Kedleston Group, is an independent specialist day school near Newark in Nottinghamshire, for children and young people aged between the ages of 9 and 17. We provide a safe learning environment for children and young people with a wide range of varying needs including social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH), autism (ASC), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and attachment difficulties (AD).
