Overview

Job Opportunity: Maths Teacher (KS3 & KS4) — Location: Harrogate. Start Date: Week commencing Monday 3rd November 2025. Contract: Full-time, until Friday 19th December 2025 (with potential extension into Spring Term 2026).

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher to join our vibrant school community after the October half-term. This is a full-time teaching role covering Key Stages 3 and 4, with additional tutor group responsibilities.

Role Details
  • Teaching Hours: 8:30am - 2:30pm (with additional time for planning, marking, and form time)
  • Tutor Group Duties: Begin at 8:30am daily
  • Staff Briefing & CPD: Thursdays from 2:40pm - 4:00pm
  • Departmental Support: Collaborative and welcoming Maths department
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching Maths at KS3 and KS4
  • Commitment to student progress and wellbeing
  • Willingness to engage in wider school life including CPD and departmental meetings
