Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment LTD. is seeking a proactive Secondary Maths Teacher to work across Scunthorpe and Lincolnshire schools on daily supply and long-term roles. You will plan and deliver engaging maths lessons, cover KS3/KS4 topics, and assess pupil progress with clear feedback.

Ideal candidates hold QTS or equivalent, have enhanced DBS and can demonstrate right to work in the UK. A dedicated consultant supports you, with flexible scheduling and access to CPD resources.

Qualifications

• Hold QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks.
• CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible.
• Legal right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging and inclusive Maths lessons.
• Demonstrate strong understanding of the Maths National Curriculum.
• Deliver a range of mathematical topics and concepts across KS3 and KS4.
• Use a range of teaching strategies to support pupils with diverse learning needs and abilities.
• Develop pupils' mathematical understanding, problem-solving skills and confidence.
• Encourage pupils to apply mathematical knowledge to real-life situations and problem-solving tasks.
• Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing appropriate feedback and support.
• Prepare pupils effectively for GCSE examinations and other relevant assessments.
• Ability to adapt to different teaching environments and school settings.
