Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment Ltd is seeking Secondary Maths Teachers to work across Lincolnshire schools on daily supply and long-term placements. QTS or equivalent is required, with DBS and right-to-work in the UK.

You will plan, deliver and assess maths lessons for KS3/KS4, adapting to various school settings and needs, with flexible hours to suit your availability. We offer ongoing consultant support, streamlined registration, and access to CPD resources through National College.

Qualifications

• Hold QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Enhanced DBS Disclosure and relevant clearances.
• Legal right to work in the UK.
• CV covering the last 10 years of employment history where possible.
• Overseas police clearances if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for planning and delivering engaging and inclusive Maths lessons.
• Have a strong understanding of the Maths National Curriculum.
• Deliver a range of mathematical topics and concepts across KS3 and KS4.
• Use a range of teaching strategies to support pupils with diverse learning needs and abilities.
• Develop pupils' mathematical understanding, problem-solving skills and confidence.
• Encourage pupils to apply mathematical knowledge to real-life situations and problem‑solving tasks.
• Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing appropriate feedback and support.
• Prepare pupils effectively for GCSE examinations and other relevant assessments.
• Ability to adapt to different teaching environments and school settings.
