Job summary

Academics in Doncaster is seeking a Maths Teacher to cover KS3 & KS4 on a flexible, ongoing supply basis across a range of secondary schools.

You will deliver engaging Maths lessons, manage classrooms, support pupil progress, and adapt lessons to different needs, with start ASAP and PAYE pay rates of 140–195 per day.

This role welcomes Experienced Teachers and ECTs, with opportunities for broader secondary cover.

Qualifications

• QTS with Maths teaching experience.
• Ability to manage classes effectively and communicate clearly.
• Experience in Education and Training is a plus.

Maths Teacher - Doncaster - Education and Training

Are you a passionate Maths teacher looking for flexible teaching opportunities across Doncaster?

At Academics, we act as an agency and are recruiting a Maths Teacher to work on a temporary, flexible, ongoing supply basis across a large variety of secondary schools throughout Doncaster.

The role allows you to share your passion for Maths with secondary students at a variety of schools, while also offering you the opportunity to undertake general secondary cover to share your passion for other subjects where subject-specific Maths roles are not available.

Position: Maths Teacher

Location: Doncaster

Contract: Temp, Flexible Ongoing Supply

Pay: 140- 195 per day (Dependent on experience, training, qualifications, Paid via PAYE - No umbrella company fees, inclusive of holiday pay)

Start date: ASAP

The role

You will deliver engaging lessons across KS3 & KS4, driving pupils to build their mathematical knowledge, reasoning and problem-solving skills.

The role is ideal for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECT) who are looking for flexible, temporary, ongoing work. There may also be opportunities to undertake general secondary cover across a variety of schools.

Candidate Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Previous Experience teaching Maths, or relevant secondary teaching experience
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Flexible and adaptable approach
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
• A passion for education
• Experience in Education and Training
