Job summary

Bright Star Talent Limited is recruiting a Maths Teacher to join a secondary school in Ladywood, Birmingham. You will plan and deliver lessons across KS3 and KS4, helping students develop fluency, reasoning and problem-solving skills while preparing them for GCSE examinations.

The ideal candidate holds QTS or an equivalent qualification, has experience teaching Maths to secondary pupils, and can differentiate work to meet the needs of all abilities, including SEND.

• Supporting GCSE preparation through revision, exam practice and targeted interventions.
• Using questioning and assessment to identify misconceptions and adapt teaching.
• Providing clear feedback that helps pupils understand their next steps.
• Differentiating tasks and resources for pupils with varying abilities, including those with SEND.
• Maintaining consistent classroom routines and following the school's behaviour policy.
• Tracking progress and sharing relevant information with colleagues.
• Working with the Maths department and support staff to meet pupils' learning needs.

Bright Star Talent is recruiting a Maths Teacher to join a secondary school in Ladywood, Birmingham.

We are looking for a qualified teacher with experience teaching Mathematics across KS3 and KS4, including supporting pupils with GCSE exam preparation.

You will be able to explain concepts clearly, identify gaps in understanding and help pupils become more confident, independent learners.

This role would suit a teacher who enjoys working with pupils of different abilities and understands how to make Maths accessible while providing challenge for those ready to progress further.

About the role
