Job summary

Aspire People is seeking a Maths and/or Science Teacher for roles in Ealing, West London. The position offers both full-time and part-time opportunities with an ASAP start. Competitive daily rate depends on experience.

You will plan and deliver engaging lessons, assess student progress, and work within a supportive school environment. An enhanced DBS check is required or willingness to obtain one.

Qualifications

• QTS or relevant teaching qualification preferred.
• Strong knowledge in Maths and/or Science.
• Experience teaching in a UK secondary school desirable.
• Confident classroom and behaviour management.
• Enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one.
• Commitment to student progress and safeguarding.

Location: Ealing, West London

Position: Maths / Science Teacher

Contract: Full-time and part-time opportunities available

Start Date: ASAP

Salary: Competitive daily rate, £200-£270, depending on experience

The Role

• Prepare students for assessments and examinations, where appropriate.
• Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of students with varying abilities and learning needs.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom environment.

• Promote positive behaviour, student engagement and a strong classroom learning culture.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the wider school community.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualifications preferred.
• Strong subject knowledge in Maths and/or Science.
• Experience teaching within a UK secondary school is desirable.
• Confident classroom management and behaviour management skills.
• A flexible, proactive approach and a genuine commitment to student progress.
• An enhanced DBS check, or willingness to obtain one, and the ability to meet safeguarding requirements.
