Job summary

Wandsworth Hospital and Home Tuition Service is seeking a qualified maths teacher to deliver engaging GCSE and A-level maths tuition in a setting that supports vulnerable learners and helps them reconnect with learning.

You will be a proactive subject leader, able to set priorities, implement improvements and work with limited direction, while maintaining high expectations for every pupil, including those with SEND and disrupted education.

Qualifications

• Qualified teacher with QTS and strong maths knowledge.
• Evidence of effective teaching, including GCSE and ability to support A-level maths.
• Experience as a proactive subject leader.

Responsibilities

• Be a proactive subject leader who can set priorities, follow through on improvements and work with limited direction.
• Create engaging learning and evaluate what works to improve pupil progress and confidence.
