Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd in Bedford is seeking a Math Lecturer to deliver high-quality Maths education to Further Education and Sixth Form learners. You will plan lessons, assess students, and support progression in GCSE and Functional Skills Maths.

The role requires a recognised teaching qualification, strong maths knowledge, and the ability to engage and motivate learners in a busy classroom environment. This temporary position is full-time (37 hours per week).

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons across the relevant curriculum.
• Plan and deliver lessons, learning activities and assessments in line with curriculum requirements.

• Use engaging teaching methods to develop students' mathematical knowledge and confidence.
• Work collaboratively with the wider teaching team.
• Support students in developing the skills required for further study and employment.

About You

We're looking for someone who has:

• Experience teaching

Maths within an FE or Sixth Form setting.

• Strong subject knowledge across Maths and related areas.
• A recognised teaching qualification.

Mathematics, Maths Education or a relevant subject.

• Experience delivering GCSE and/or Functional Skills Maths.
• Excellent communication, classroom management and organisational skills.
• Ability to engage and motivate learners.
• A genuine passion for supporting students to achieve strong academic and career outcomes.
